Short Description of Activity
Monitored grazing conditions in the Upper Dutch allotment, found 5 groups of cow / calf pairs for a total of 68 cows in pastures they were not authorized to be in at this time. Emailed FS range manager 2 photos with GPS coordinates to report cattle locations.
Reflection/Evaluation
We learned the effects of grazing on diversity of species, both of wildlife and plants, such as aspen, grasses, willows, beaver, etc. Our campsite was beautiful, with good views, grassy, and generally quiet.
