Short Description of Activity
Monthly stakeholders’ meetings planned by the management committee; Dates – 4/21/2020 – 2.5 hrs; 5/19-2020 – 2 hrs; 6/16 – 2 hrs; The group is working on how to implement invasive training, the Visitor Use Management (VUM) model, the La Madera CFRP, the NM Natural History Museum Education Center, various trails and mountain biking issues, etc. We also need to take notes and allow each other to edit them so they can be entered on the Google Drive site for the collaborative.
Reflection/Evaluation
The group has a lot of irons in the fire, but mostly are focused on how to keep the collaborative functioning after the funding for a facilitator runs out at the the end of the year, and how to obtain grant money to support the La Madera CFRP, which is a very large project – most of the Sandias north of I40. This is a thorny problem, as the level of engagement versus the number of engaged stakeholders leaves too much work for the current active members…
