A fantastic webinar on communication more complex information to the public with the hopes of educating them on important matters at hand. It said a lot about communicating Climate Change information and convincing people that climate change is a real thing.
Reflection/Evaluation
What an excellent webinar. If I see it listed again I will share the link with the Broads. It stressed not “dumbing down’ information but changing the words we use to share it; using empathetic listening; using “Yes, and” instead of “Yes, but”; joining the person/people as partner(s), not adversaries; and combatting the “curse of passion” i.e. relaying too much info too fast. I love this group!
