Reflection/Evaluation
And excellent meeting brining us up to date on the issues, where the permitting process stands and who to contact about what. All of the presenters were passionate and informed. I emailed the Broads a summary of the meeting and link to films and information that were relevant, courtesy of Defend Bristol Bay. Alaska Soles has been actively involved in fighting this project and recently connected with Wa/Oregon Broadbands who are put out a wonderful letter which got some of their Congressmen to write to the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, urging him to “exercise its authority under the Clean Water Act and oppose the flawed Environmental Impact Statement”. The letter was supported by an additional 34 members of Congress.
