Short Description of Activity
This event was something to get people out on the trails and develop a deeper appreciation for wild places and public lands. We send reminders to our membership to get out and hike and then send us a photo on October 17 of one of their special hiking destinations. The event is also documented on a blog.
Reflection/Evaluation
Not as successful as we had hoped but worth the effort. It seems many Broads don’t like to track their hiking activity. I think we will continue to grow it through next summer and see if we can get more participation.
