Short Description of Activity
General wildlife advocacy and administration/communication including CO Broads Wildlife monthly calls; response to members and member leaders; CPW State Trails Grant research; CPW new license fee to access State Wildlife Areas; Wolf reintroduction ballot initiative; communication with partner organizations re: wildlife issues including Bighorn sheep monitoring.
Reflection/Evaluation
Delighted to have three members join the September wildlife call including a new member! Seeing progress with CPW re: fee for play at SWAs; continuing relationship building with local CPW staff related to STC grants. Sadly our AWM with whom we have built a solid relationship retired in mid September, so we’ll need to give some energy to creating rapport with the new AWM slated to start Oct 1 though I still don’t know the person’s identity.
