Landscape/area: Uncompahgre National Forest (951767 acres)
Measurable Outcomes
Outcome 1: Trail/land monitored (170 surveys)
Short Description of Activity
Using Colorado Mountain Club’s RIM application, I reported 170 surveys including trees down, campsite assessments and signage inventory for the USFS and OTG.
Reflection/Evaluation
App is so easy to use and our data contributes invaluably to both the USFS and the Ouray Trails Group (local volunteer trail maintenance non-profit) Trails have been cleared, signs repaired or replaced and campsites cleaned up because of our monitoring!!! Note that the majority of hours can be attributed to one Broad though she enjoyed the company of two other Broads on several hikes. pre and post hours = driving time to trailheads
