Short Description of Activity
Listened in on the STC meeting lead by Fletcher Jacobs. The new “Planning For Trails With Wildlife in Mind should be available for review in 2021, much of the remaining discussion was about a recent funding sweep from the OHV funds (by the JBC) and reports from Regional Trail Coordinators, which agreed that trails, and parks have suffered due to increase trail use. Also new Coordinator Heather Harmell from Durango was introduced.
Reflection/Evaluation
The sweep of funds (over 5Million Dollars) could force the Grant dollars to be spent in full each year which could mean that more trails are approved.
