Short Description of Activity
Ongoing advocacy and coalition communication aimed at elevating our coalition’s Community Conservation Proposal with a particular emphasis on landscapes in Ouray County. NSJBB is prioritizing 2 of 5 landscapes – Bear Creek addition to the Uncompahgre Wilderness and the Hayden Mountain Special Interest Area.
Reflection/Evaluation
Trying to keep our prioritized landscapes in the minds of the planning team even though it’s not an official comment period while the agency is preparing the DEIS and alternatives.
