Activity Type: Advocacy (rallies, lobbying, meeting decision makers, letters/calls/emails)
Key Partners: Sierra Club, Oak Creek Watershed
Short Description of Activity
Able to attend (zoom again) one Sierra Club Meeting, dealing with Verde river and degradation issues there, mostly human but also cattle caused. Solutions discussed and members provided much followthrough.
Also attended (zoom) a Oak Creek Watershed meeting — Sedona area. Much emphasis about cleaning up human trash (especially due to overuse this year) and Ecoli contamination issues.
Reflection/Evaluation
Great to know how these organizations through persistent advocacy, can get some things done!
