Filled in for Joanne with this committee regarding fish passage at the dam at Mirror Pond.
Reflection/Evaluation
A letter with proposal regarding the need to deal with the issue of fish passage on the Deschutes thru Bend, which what is currently available as a fish ladder is not working. Fish are dying. The City and Park and Rec. Dept. are potentially going to sign an MOU….this groups focus is very narrow –strictly the focus of fish passage. Next steps are to get more stakeholders on board with the proposal and then decide if this goes to the ODFW office or directly to the Governor.
