Short Description of Activity
NSJBB took advantage of the Capitol Tree “parade” through Colorado to highlight the importance of forest health to climate change, wildlife corridors, watersheds, etc AND to elevate our advocacy for the CORE Act and the Community Conservation Proposal to the GMUG Forest Plan revision.
Reflection/Evaluation
We targeted newspapers in Ouray, Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, Mesa and San Miguel Counties for LTES and 6 out of the 7 submissions were published. Robyn had three published with three others inspired by our BB in Delta and Gunnison papers.
