Short Description of Activity
Monthly advocacy night focused on plans to upgrade communication equipment on the top of Marys Peak, our iconic mountain and the tallest in the Oregon Coast Range. BLM offered three proposals, two of which were NOT acceptable. We discussed all three and sent information to all attendees about how and where to comment along with talking points.
Reflection/Evaluation
Think it was a successful night; educated many of the people who participated and inspired lots of people to write and submit comments. Information was also sent to others who weren’t able to attend. Activity or event hours include that 15 people informed me that they submitted comments.
