Short Description of Activity
Native Perspective presentations from Grand Staircase- Escalante Monument coalition = 4 hours, Beavers = 1.5 hours, Ecological restoration treatments after wildfire on BLM land = 1
Reflection/Evaluation
The Native Perspective presentations are quite good.
“Beavers” was also pretty amazing to see the changes they cab cause in a relatively short time.
BLM wildfire restoration was about the Sieber canyon fire which happened about 12 miles south of Grand Junction. Several of the suggestions given were new information and I hope to get access to the papers that describe the restoration work in hopes of learning more.
