Activity Type: Education & Outreach (tabling, films & lectures, regional B-walks/works)
Short Description of Activity
The Bozeman Broadband has adopted a two-mile stretch of Interstate 90 near Bozeman and we worked to clean up the trash along the freeway. The area is en route to a landfill and gets very heavily littered by construction trucks, etc.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was rewarding. I received personal thank you notes and gift cards from strangers, and the Bozeman Broadband received a Beautification Award from the City of Bozeman, with publicity in the local paper.
