Reflection/Evaluation
Many of the harms of fracking were due to climate change but it was interesting to see and know all we can do with solar energy market and technology changing with manufacturers behind it. For Maine, I was particularly interested to see that their main goal for Maine is a Green Amendment. They are getting into the planning stage and deciding their key targets and who opposition is. Maine has strongest mineral mining rules in the country. They addressed environmental racism. For the Salazar webinar and Care Call, I learned about ranchers who are conserving essential lands through rewilding and have family land preservation work going on.
