Short Description of Activity
Seven members and a guest met via Zoom. Grazing monitoring update was given on October’s activity, and plans for the upcoming colder months. GC will seek additional relevant areas for monitoring, and explore sending the monitoring reports directly from our iPad without having to go to the Gila Natl. Forest office.
Activity reports and format discussion. Aldo GOB members survey discussion. Our two Las Cruces members will be sent a copy of the GOB newsletter, along with a short note of greeting.
Reflection/Evaluation
The survey provided helpful information and was definitely worth the effort. Marcia summarized some of the observations and results from this survey. A majority of survey respondents indicated their desire for outdoor activities such as hiking, etc. There was general agreement that one or two (socially distanced and following guidelines) spring hikes would be good if things work out relative to the pandemic, particularly since other events are not currently occurring.
