NM Green Amendment – We have signed on as a group.
Questionnaire for Aldo members – getting close to going out.
Grazing Committee – Reserve Ranger district has been contacted, shown the draft monitoring forms we previously compiled and wished to use. We’ve also been put her in contact with the Silver City Ranger District since most of our sites are in this district. We hope to hear back from her soon.
Natl. Wildlife Corridors – Joanie reported no update yet. Linda Starr offered to ask during Senator Udall’s town hall meeting this week.
Southwest Rendezvous – via Zoom for a short session. Fall date to still be determined.
Retreat – We discussed various options as an alternative, including service projects in the Gila NF or Gila Cliff Dwelling NM, apparently still doable.
Gila River Festival sponsorship – $500 level sponsorship agreed upon.
Steering committee July hours reported at meeting –
Denise 10 hours – grazing committee
Marcia estimated 5 hours training/ orientation; 4 hours meetings/ communications; 4 hours hiking while monitoring for cattle along Sapillo Creek. (Sally encouraged us to include time hiking if monitoring for such impacts.)
