Short Description of Activity
review updates on pre-scoping. Key issues construction damage, effectiveness, removal of non-natives, recreation and fishery management, monitoring and maintenance, and effect on wild and scenic river. NEPA NOT EXPECTED UNTIL FALL 2021.
Reflection/Evaluation
We all spend a lot of time discussing this upcoming fish barrier project. They are still not addressing that stock tanks and lakes upstream will contribute to non-native fish mixing with the natives and then the whole process of removing them would have to be tackled again. So far hey are standing by their choice of sites for the dams.
