Short Description of Activity

13 WHALES participated in TVTAP’s community-wide challenge to raise funds for their winter trail grooming program. The WHALES skied or snowshoed over 800 kms on groomed trails and raise $4676 for TVTAP, which was about 27% of the total raised.

Reflection/Evaluation

TVTAP exceeded their fundraising and distance goals for this first-time fundraiser, and cited the WHALES for our contributions. We agree that we skied or snowshoed more than we might have, without the event for incentive, and we had so much fun doing so! (Hours below are a rough approximation)
