Short Description of Activity
American Zion: Cliven Bundy, God, and Public Lands in the West with 13 people attending, several who were new to Broads Read. A lively discussion was held concerning the book, how it might inform our work with public lands specifically in southern Utah, and how some of the events in the book foreshadowed the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.
Reflection/Evaluation
Excellent, as always, when Amy leads it. We had a new member from Ft. Collins and an old member who just retired in addition to Amy’s parents. Each person who attended is yet another person who might be involved in our activities and advocacy in the future since the meeting is interactive and personal connections are made.
