Short Description of Activity
Dinah Bear? presented where NEPA is now under new admin with old 2020 regs for federal agencies still in play. Only 2 agencies actually turned in a draft to comply with NEPA regs (out of 85) New admin is left with a mess to clean up. 2020 regs did a few good things so would want to incorporate those and not just go back to 2016 regs. Jan, Barbara and I attended in hopes of gaining better understanding.
Reflection/Evaluation
I gained a bit better understanding but my knowledge base is so small that anything was an improvement. The best thing that came out of it for me was access to the Citizen’s Guide to NEPA which I printed off (before my old printer died!) and will read. I have a NEPA paper file in my desk so I will make progress eventually.
