Carey Dabney, Grand County LWV, presented the study her group (think mostly her) wrote with power point video and discussion. Transfer of Public Lands Movement is the publication that can be found on their website along with videos and resources and scads of documenting materials pertaining to the efforts to transfer public federal lands in Utah to the state.
Reflection/Evaluation
I was so impressed and as you know, Sally, we are using this as our basis for our March Education BB meeting, Keep Public Lands in Public Hands 101. I’ve been in email conversation with Carey since and we will continue our collaboration. She is redoing some of the slide video and I will critique it this weekend from the LWV’s critical lens. (I was past state president in the 80s and have long time affiliation with the organization) So while education was the goal it has morphed into something much more that will benefit our broadband members and others.
