Short Description of Activity
This was a fun event in which Laurie and Jean drove up to Montesano, Wa and joined Lee First in paddling around the Blue Slough Natural Area.
Reflection/Evaluation
We paddled approximately 7 miles and followed the tides to paddle with the least amount of exertion. The weather was great and we even saw a bear! Luckily for us, he was on land and we were in the water! Too bad more Broads couldn’t have joined us. We stopped at the Brew Pub in Chehalis on the way back for a beer and a brew.
