Short Description of Activity
As closing activity from WALTS training, I had a conversation with a BB leader, Chris Shaver form Denver BB. She has an amazing background as an attorney and in administration with many federal land management agencies.
Reflection/Evaluation
Chris had good advice -find your niche, be the voice and the name on important topics; there are never enough engaged people, do what you can, volunteer the hours you can manage. Chris joined Broads for the stewardship, hiking and advocacy work, she stays for the friends and the work we do. Resources she used are websites from Broads and other organizations.
