Short Description of Activity
This was an educational webinar about lobbying for the Produced Water Act.. It would realize the oil and gas industry to reuse their produced water for fracking instead of fresh water from an already depleted aquifer, and abandoning the wastewater to pollute local wells and the aquifer in the SE part of NM
Reflection/Evaluation
Webinar was informative, but I don’t believe the bill was able to be passed. As of Feb. 16th, it had died i committee. Too Sad!
