Short Description of Activity
I appreciated Ian’s willingness to speak about 30 by 30 . Information he brought was mostly basic so only a few questions were asked. We were able to hear reports from individuals working on various advocacy issues. Members supported the committee who is looking into supporting people using native plants in their yards with funds to purchase plants.
Reflection/Evaluation
Meetings are such a joy for me — just to see everyone and hear something that is important to them at the moment is wonderful. I think several members are trying to learn more details about how 30 by 30 might be accomplished. We did consider the lack of public lands in the eastern states and the complexities of including private land in a conservancy or ? .
