Activity Type: Relationship Building with non-white and/or frontline communities (relational meetings, attending events, community support, etc.)
Short Description of Activity
Met with Joseph Imhoff to learn about what he is doing to eradicate the invasive eculyptus trees and planting native Koa and other species to revive the forests of Haleakela. We discussed getting together this summer to build fencing and I will be rounding up volunteers to help.
Reflection/Evaluation
He is a valuble resource and knows everyone in the conservation world in Maui and gave me a few contacts and groups to contact.
