Short Description of Activity
I led two Legislative District Teams for virtual Environmental Day at the Arizona State Capitol.
My Legislative District 8 and a neighboring Legislative District 16.
Reflection/Evaluation
Both districts have extremely conservative legislators, but we keep showing up. We had two legislators cancel on us, but managed to meet with one from each district. We had a very sucessful meeting, in terms of listening and connection, with the new Representative Jacqueling Parker from LD16. I hope that will translate into serious consideration of some of the environmental issues facing Arizona in the future.
