Short Description of Activity
A basic level webinar to educate about Arizona’s water issues. The speaker gave details about water law in Arizona, including water rights, what is considered ground water and surface water, and what needs to change in our state to protect and conserve water.
Reflection/Evaluation
This was a very informative webinar, as I had little to no knowledge how the politics in my state affect our water. It also highlighted how developers get around the 100-year supply rule for new housing tracts, and mentioned that they now lease from Native tribes. But that water is all running out.
