Signed on (along with other groups) to a letter to Senator Heinrich, encouraging “support and leadership in obtaining congressional direction and funding for the National Academies of Sciences (NAS) to conduct a comprehensive study of Rio Grande dams and reservoirs in the upper Rio Grande Basin (headwaters to Fort Quitman, Texas) in order to conserve water and optimize river management to benefit fish and wildlife, water users throughout the basin, and the health of the river and region.”
