Short Description of Activity
Report received of mining activity at Kirkland Pozzolan Mine from local citizens. Jenny and Tom drove out to the site Yesterday and photographed silos (emailed you some pix), buildings, and worker bee activity. Today we researched ownership of the front parcel where the silos are and discovered: parcel number 205-25-030F is 3.98 acres and transfered to the Mining Co. in March from a Skull Valley resident. It is zoned RCU-2A
Reflection/Evaluation
as far as we can tell the zoning allows for up to 50 foot towers as long as they are not habitable. Broads should have the letter I (we) wrote on file. Should be interesting when they start hauling pozzolan and water in and out of there – for up to 40 years. Copied what we found out to a Skull Valley resident who inquired.
