Short Description of Activity

We went to the border wall through Sasabe, AZ to monitor the state of building, dangers to wildlife and areas most in need of tearing down. We witnessed several blocked washes and open trenches or lighting foundations that put wildlife and the terrain in peril. We took GPS co-ordinates for Myles and many images for a national presentation for Great Old Broads.

Reflection/Evaluation

The goal to monitor the state of the wall and its perils was met, as much as we could do in one day. Just covering 12 miles took several hours. Ideally, we would return and continue east towards the Pajarito Mts and Nogales. Myles says this stretch of wall has not been monitored.
