Landscape/area: Weminuche Wilderness (496972 acres)
Measurable Outcomes
Outcome 1: Trail cleared/built (1 miles)
Outcome 2: Hiked (3 miles)
Short Description of Activity
We cut out 22 trees and 3 dangerous roots and cleaned one waterbar and one diversion we built in 2019 that was still working.
Reflection/Evaluation
3 certified crosscut sawyers used a crosscut saw, pulaski, axe or silky saw. We worked safely and found far fewer down trees than in 2019. Most of the small streams we crossed were dry. Snow was continuous at 9,900′ elevation.
