Short Description of Activity
consulted with Katya re: best approaches for our Equity and Justice sub committee. DIscussed value of changing JEDI to Equity & Justice, how to handle different positions on the committee, and best next action steps for our committee to take. Agreed that we don’t need to mandate anti racism training prior to partnering with other community groups of color, for instance. We can be transparent with groups if we have concerns about our members’ unintentional non-helpful behavior.

I received some helpful feedback from Katya, to take back to my group. I will send Katya latest documents one of our member generated, in approaching anti-racism and/or ally ship.
