Reflection/Evaluation
For being a holiday we encountered very few people on this section of trail. Encountered two male PCT hikers,(so they claimed), who made a dispersed campsite adjacent to the trail and also had made a campfire. LNT was discussed.
We planned an early start and upon arrival the parking lot was already full with most hikers going to Herman Creek and not going beyond to the wilderness area.
Trash on the trail was picked up.
We definitely enjoyed solitude on this monitor hike.
