Short Description of Activity
Nine Broads and Casey Andrews, Wild and Scenic River and Wilderness Manager, Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, FS, met on Zoom for updated Solitude Monitoring Training for the season.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to update volunteers on monitoring procedures, trails, and answer any questions we may have. Casey was eager to engage with us and very thorough and thankful for our service. She clarified the trails and procedures and explained why we were monitoring solitude. She also showed great pictures and slides of trail maps and scenic areas. I will post the recording on the google group so others may also wish to view it. Great training! I am so glad we can be of service to the FS!
