Activity Type: Advocacy (rallies, lobbying, meeting decision makers, letters/calls/emails)
Short Description of Activity
Barbara Jacobsen, Jenny Cobb, and Dianne Hicks met with Chuck Budinger ADOT (unofficially – he did the same thing over the few years it took to form and get this committee approved).
Reflection/Evaluation
We have attended many of the formal EMAC Meetings – and parent meetings of the TAC committee and CYMPO (Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization). Recently we were concerned with the need for a new culvert under Highway 69 where widening will take place in the coming months. We were too late – no money allocated. Chuck is updating us on meetings we need to attend to keep the need for wildlife corridors in the public eye. Four projects looming we need to allocate fund for. We have detailed paperwork, maps, etc.
