Short Description of Activity
A wide range of wildlife=related activities including 2 comments re: COPMOBA/RAT regional trail conceptual design, one comment re: CPW Planning Trails with Wildlife in Mind handbook revision/update; letters to CO Senator Coram and Rep McLachlan re: joint resolution on wildlife corridors; meetings with Broads and partner organizations; input to a collaborative CPW Regional Partnership grant application; participation in Beaver Believer webinar; attendance at CPW State Trails Committee and CPW Commissioner meeting
Reflection/Evaluation
Super busy with diverse advocacy activities. Don’t know if our comments submitted made a difference as we’ve not seen final products. Though the COOP grant that we helped write was not awarded funds, another application was submitted by the National Forest Foundation in collaboration with governments, USFS, BLM and others for Ouray County and that one WAS funded, so Broads plans to invite ourselves to the table if we are not asked to participate.
