Short Description of Activity
13 attendees, Our May Meeting centered on the water testing work Theo Pratt and others have done on Weskeag River in Maine, she explained the methodology, showed us slides of people in action and made a case for what water testing data will show. She will be sharing her work again on the Maine Broadwalk in August. Also discussed resilient water gardens, environmental education opportunites to adapt curriculum, making connections to stewardship opportunities, upcoming events.
Reflection/Evaluation
Great meeting, we learned a lot from Theo’s presentation and generated enthusiasm for more discussion of ways to protect our watersheds.
