Short Description of Activity
-Elwha River Restoration. Meeting w/ Coastal Watershed Institute, Anne Shaffer
-Coastal Watershed Institute. Draft and edit email to Native Connections Action Group requesting letter of support for Nearshore Public Access Management Plan
-Attended Fish Passage 2021 Presentation
-Chehalis River Alliance meeting. Discussion about budget and strategy for Chehalis River dam proposal
-Follow up with Native Connections Action Group about letter of support for Nearshore Public Access Management Plan
-Discuss progress on Chehalis dam project and attempted to vote on the budget, but the EIS is not complete and no-dam alternative defined.
-Created Action Alert for Chehalis Basin Board meeting for public to call Inslee about not having a no-dam alternative, but getting funding for a dam permit.
-Drafting, edited, and submitted letter of support for Elwha Beach Lake Plan. Supporting Coastal Watershed -Institute in returning land to the Elwha Tribe. Outreach to the Native Connections in port Townsend soliciting a letter from their membership.
-Grassroots coalition meeting and extra discussions with members via phone.
-Grassroots group meeting and worked on multi media outreach with other members.
-Grassroots group meeting. Worked on images for flyers and media announcements.
