Short Description of Activity

Sat in on EMAC planning meeting. Follow up with the recent meeting with Chuck Budinger. We were active in establishing this committee several years ago. Could not get in the Yavapai County Planning Meeting on 7/15 – on Webex which I have but computer or phone would not work.

Reflection/Evaluation

One interesting point was that there has been talk of, and an AZ Game and Fish employee reporting to the Prescott City Council that they are going to move all the pronghorn going north on Highway 89. Elizabeth James stated that this is only a rumor – and cannot be true because they do not have a prepared habitat for the pronghorn. When they moved pronghorm couple of years ago from Glassford Hill Area because of development they had a prepared area near Willcox. Many pronghorm were killed in the move – they are scared to death. The area near Willcox was prepared by killing coyotes residing there. Shocking.
