Short Description of Activity
Processed Meats; Essays on Food, Flesh, and Navigating Disaster by Nicole Walker was the book we discussed, a Torrey House Press publication. Amy Brunhard led the discussion among 6 Broads, including one in Minnesota.
Reflection/Evaluation
Discussion was good as usual but I was disappointed in the turn out. We evaluated it and decided the title might have turned folk off from reading the book and we need to do a better sell job on the next. The book was poignant in places and laugh out loud funny in others. Good read.
