Linda and Laurie monitored the PCT trail from Wahtum Lake north and back for solitude.
Reflection/Evaluation
The weather was great and we had a great hike! We observed 20 hikers on the trail with 4 dogs, all on leash. No low elevation flights were noted. One campsite along the lake scored 0 for solitude. The view from the PCT along the ridge was amazing as one can view the miles and miles of forest land along the mountain and the valley. Great view of Mt. Hood, too. We stopped at the Mesquitery in Hood River for a fantastic salmon dinner.
