Short Description of Activity
Was also invited to participate in a second Wolf Reintroduction focus group. Partici[pants had an environmentalist; & wildlife/Habitat focus. Participants shared their perspective on what was needed for a successful reintroduction and science based monitoring. Members of the SAG (Stakeholder Advisory Group) also participated and listened.
Reflection/Evaluation
CPW is putting some effort into enrolling a wide range of interested parties and stakeholders prior to preparing and releasing their draft plan for Colorado’s wold reintroduction program. The next steps will be to see and respond to the draft when it is released.
to date, I feel that CPW plans to act as good stewards of our native and reintroduced wildlife and it is my hope that that supposition pans out.
