Short Description of Activity
Sign on to a letter: With this letter, 37 national and regional conservation and fishing organizations and associations are calling on the Biden Administration NOT to defend the former administration’s Biological Opinion for endangered salmon and steelhead populations in the Columbia-Snake River Basin, and instead begin urgent work with Pacific Northwest policymakers, Native American Tribes and other sovereigns, and key stakeholders to develop and fund a comprehensive plan in 2021/2022 that protects and restores salmon, upholds our nation’s responsibilities to Native American tribes, and invests in communities and critical infrastructure.
