Short Description of Activity
This monitoring and diagnostic field trip was held to explain the progress the Zuni CFLR has made in the last 10 years and the progress that is planned for the next 10 years, hoping that the funding will be extended. The CFLRP group ranks number 1 so far in the regional evaluations for an extension, so it is hoped that the extension will be funded. I will attach the notes from the field trip, so that should give an idea of the good, the bad and the ugly.
Reflection/Evaluation
It remains to be seen if the funding extension will be granted, but the successes the group has had in working with the horse back, hiking and mountain biking community, as well as the strong condition of the areas that have been thinned, had controlled burns, and riparian restoration done are impressive.
