Measurable Outcomes

Outcome 1: Trail/land monitored (6 sites/plots)
Outcome 2: Hiked (5 miles)

Short Description of Activity

Surveyed 6 units in the Willamette Forest with emphasis on identifying streams, large trees and conditions of buffers.

Reflection/Evaluation

We found several streams and a couple of areas that are very steep adjacent to streams. This information will be used in letters to the forest service during open comment period. We had some questions regarding what the term “thinning ” meant and this will be the focus of our next field checking trip.
