Short Description of Activity

Mostly coalition meetings with updates as the CORE Act is awaiting a Senate ENR committee markup. One interview with Telluride Daily Planet’s reporter Sophie Stuebner that resulted in an article where Robyn was quoted re: Thompson Divide being added to the Build Back Better bill. Did try (to no avail) to weasel our way into the meeting with Senators, County Commissioners and a few non-profits when Secretary Deb Haaland was in Ridgway.

Reflection/Evaluation

Have a great relationship with Sophie at Telluride Daily Planet to the point where she calls regularly for interview regarding public lands issues. Disappointed not to be invited to the Deb Haaland meeting. Robyn is not pleased with John Whitney and Commissioner Tisdel.
