Short Description of Activity

Continue efforts to connect Working Circle with livestock producers, elevate WC’s working landscape/co-existence messaging and promote their workshops. Solicited an introductory letter from WC to livestock producers that NSJBB has used to send two emails to prominent agricultural leaders. Spoke to Ouray BOCC and send them WC materials. Created wolf reintroduction talking points for members to use. Submitted online comment to CPW/Keystone Policy Institute on wolf reintroduction. Attend CPW Commissioner meeting.

Reflection/Evaluation

Engagement of livestock producers is slow – often with no response but we keep trying. Letter from WC (see uploaded doc below) is very helpful. Though BOCC seemed interested, they didn’t respond to my email with resources but didn’t really expect them to with all they have going on. Feel positive about our NSJBB talking points.
